Discussing the matter of the risk of large foreign financial Institutions in the USA banking sector, their supervision, regulation and Basel III,  and their role in the global Economy gave the FED board the opportunity to open its doors to the public. Both, the matter discussed and the possibility of see them make of this video a very valuable opportunity to check a major global ruling agent of our lives; think, for instance, that these institutions use the FED liquidity facilities to expand their operations abroad.

The meeting took place on December 14th2012 was made public yesterday and beyond certain artificiality in the intervention this is a “Must see” event in Economics. Presentations are followed by an interesting “kind of” discussion between the members of the board where the experience of the Bank of England was quoted several times. There is also a very interesting generational aspect in the composition of the Board.
